SCS LSC167
This challenge was to make a card without using any stamps. I decided to use a sticker of Thomas the Tank engine to make a birthday card for my nephew. He'll be four next week and loves Thomas and his friends. I hope he likes it.

SCS Sketch Challenge 177
When I saw the SCS sketch for this week, I knew right away I wanted to use this stamp. I am falling in love with Changito! It's such a cute set of stamps. Plus monkeys are brown and that gives me an excuse to use pink and brown together . Again! I know I've been using this color combo way too much. It's hard to see in the photo but I added pink glitter to the balloon.

Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge 176
This was last week's sketch challenge:
Here is what I came up with:
I've had the Lovely as a Tree set for awhile and this is the first time I used it. I was attempting something a bit more masculine. I'm not sure how masculine this really is, though. I did manage to stay away from pink. That has to be a step in the right direction.

More Graduation Cards
I found this neat paper (DCWV Black Congrats) in my stash and decided to make a couple more graduation cards. I think the first one will go to our niece who graduates in a few days. I had already made one for her but I like this one better. I used her school colors in this one and it's much brighter and festive.

Mother's Day Card
This is the card I made for my mom for Mother's Day. Here is a link to the card I CASEd. I liked this card immediately because it's simple and sweet. I didn't have the Build-A-Brad so I used a regular white brad. I'm pleased with how it turned out. I hope she likes it.

Limited Supply Challenge #166
Last Friday's challenge was called Spotlight on Circles. The only tools to be used were circle punches. I really hope the scalloped circle punch counts! At least there are lots of "normal" circles in the patterned paper.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: SU! So Many Scallops
Paper: SCWV The Pocket Full of Posies Matstack

Purple Iris
I've had this stamp forever. I think it was the first stamp I bought many years ago. Back then I never seemed to find time to stamp. I saw a card on the Splitcoaststampers site recently using this stamp and knew I wanted to use it again. I saw this card and thought the technique would be nice for this iris.
